Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the South Ward Idol Talent Show at George Washington Carver School Auditorium, 333 Clinton Place, Newark, New Jersey 07112, on Saturday, December 8, 2012, between 11:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of George Washington Carver School Auditorium on Saturday, December 8, 2012, between 11:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
