Whereas, N.J.S.A 40A:4-60, as amended, provides for cancellations of part, of all of the unencumbered balances in the Budget Appropriations for the 2012 Current Fund , Water Utility Fund, Sewer Utility Fund, Capital Improvement Authorizations including Public and Private Programs and Other Miscellaneous Receivables; and
Whereas, there are no specific claims, commitments, or contracts incurred against the following balances and detail is attached,

2012 Water Utility (See the attached for details)
2012 Sewer Utility Fund
2012 Capital Improvement Authorizations
2012 Public and Private Programs
2012 Other Miscellaneous Receivables
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, that the aforesaid balances totaling $ are cancelled in the 2012 budget.

STATEMENT
This legislation provides for cancellations of part, of all of the unencumbered balances in the Budget Appropriations for the 2012 Current Fund , Water Utility Fund, Sewer Utility Fund, Capital Improvement Authorizations including Public and Private Programs and Other Miscellaneous Receivables in the amount of $ effective December 31, 2012.
