WHEREAS, a vacancy in the position of President of the Newark Municipal Council was created by the resignation of Council Member Donald M. Payne, Jr.: and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Municipal Council to fill the vacancy.   

                       NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY:
