WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting an Emergency Town Hall Meeting at Central High School, 246 - 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108 on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement with the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Central High School, 246 - 18th Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07108 on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
