Whereas, the Office of the Mayor is desirous of supporting the Mayor’s State of the City Address at New Jersey Performing Arts Center, One Center Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, between 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Office of the Mayor has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement with New Jersey Performing Arts Center, One Center Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Office of the Mayor supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of New Jersey Performing Arts Center, One Center Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of New Jersey Performing Arts Center, One Center Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 on Tuesday, March 5, 2013, between 6:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to New Jersey Performing Arts Center, One Center Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
