WHEREAS, Khamil S. Bowman of 202-B Court Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 was appointed as a Constable pursuant to Resolution 7R9-A adopted on February 6, 2013, by the Newark Municipal Council; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-125, Khamil S. Bowman, must give a bond within thirty (30) days of the initial adoption of the resolution of appointment, in such form and amount as prescribed by the Governing Body and approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Constable Bond in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) issued to: Khamil S. Bowman, 202-B Court Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.
STATEMENT
This resolution authorizes Corporation Counsel on behalf of the City of Newark to hereby further establish, Khamil S. Bowman of 202-B Court Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102 to serve as Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey, for a term of three (3) years from the date of the Constable Bond to its expiration, whichever occurs first and approves the form, amount and sufficiency of the Constable Bond.
