WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Annual State of the West Ward Address at Speedway Avenue School, 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106 (Auditorium, Music Room, and Dance Studio) on Thursday, April 4, 2013, between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Speedway Avenue School, 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106 (Auditorium, Music Room, and Dance Studio) on Thursday, April 4, 2013, between 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M for the Annual State of the West Ward Address.
2. That the Office of the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indem...
