Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Grand Opening of the West Ward Economic Development Corporation and West Ward Clean as a Community Event at Speedway Avenue School, (Parking Lot and Cafeteria) 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106 on Saturday, April 13, 2013, between 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark’s use of Speedway Avenue School, (Parking Lot and Cafeteria) 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, on Saturday, April 13, 2013, between 10:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M.
