BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:

1. The property owner, Matrix Two Riverfront Associates, LLC, has requested that the City of Newark assign a landmark mailing and locatable address to the SJP/Panasonic Corporation of North America Building, under construction at 826-836 McCarter Highway rear, Block 136, Lot 63.02.

2. The land so designated is commonly known as 826-836 McCarter Highway rear.

3. The land, so designated is shown on the Tax Map of the City of Newark, as Block 136, Lot 63.02.

4. Newark Revised Ordinance (hereinafter, “R.O.”) 29:15-1, et seq., requires that the Director, Department of Engineering establish street names, street address numbers, unique addresses, etc. in accordance with certain guidelines.

5. The aforementioned Ordinance, more particularly, R.O. 29:15-4(k), permits the Director, to prepare and recommend a unique designation, other than the official address, to the Municipal Council for approval.

6. In accordance with the procedures and requirements set forth in the aforementioned Ordinance, the Director, Department of Engineering, hereby recommends that the official mailing address of the building shall be designated as “Two Riverfront Plaza.”



7. The precise boundaries of the land so designated are: BEGINNING at a point located in the northeasterly right of way line of Raymond Boulevard, 122 feet wide, said point being distant 46.65 feet southeasterly on a course bearing south 68 degrees 04 minutes 55 sec...
