Whereas, at the request of the Department of Engineering, a review of the traffic operations by New Jersey Transit in conjunction with the City of Newark, Division of Traffic and Signals was completed and pursuant to N.J.S.A 39:4-197(3)(a), the following described location is relocated as a bus stop:
ADDED BUS STOP:
1. In the East Ward, along Pulaski Street, southbound on the westerly side thereof:
Warwick Street, nearside
Beginning at the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Warwick Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
DELETED BUS STOP:
2. In the East Ward, along Pulaski Street, southbound on the westerly side thereof:
Nicholas Street, farside
Beginning at the southerly curb line of Nicholas Street and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 39:4-197(3)(a) of Title 39 of the Revised Statutes of New Jersey, a municipality may by ordinance, resolution or regulation designate or delete a bus stop.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. In the East Ward, the following described location is hereby added:
Along Pulaski Street, southbound on the westerly side, at Warwick Street, (nearside) beginning at the prolongation of the northerly curb line of Warwick Street and extending 105 feet northerly therefrom.
In the East Ward, the following described location is hereby deleted:
Along Pulaski Street, southbound on the westerly side, at Nicholas Street, (farside) beginning at the southerly curb line of Nicholas Street and extending 100 feet southerly therefrom.
