WHEREAS, Orlando Vick, Sr., was appointed as a Constable pursuant to Resolution 7R9-B adopted at the April 17, 2013 Regular Municipal Council Meeting; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-125, Orlando Vick, Sr., must give a bond within thirty (30) days of the initial adoption of the resolution of appointment, in such form and amount as prescribed by the Governing Body and approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
- The term of the Constable appointment of Orlando Vick, Sr., is for a period of three (3) years from the date of the Constable Bond to its expiration whichever occurs first.
- The Constable Bond, in the amount of $1,000.00 issued to Orlando Vick, Sr., of 729 So. 20th Street, Newark, New Jersey, 07112, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.
STATEMENT
This resolution authorizes and approves as to form, amount and sufficiency the Constable Bond posted by Orlando Vick, Sr., of 729 So. 20th Street, Newark, New Jersey, 07112, who was appointed to serve as a Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey, for a period of three (3) years from the date of the Constable Bond to its expiration whichever occurs first.
