WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal adopted resolution 7R9-j on August 3, 2011 which authorized a contract with Public Works Management, LLC, 35 Janeway Place, Morris Plains, NJ 07950, and

WHEREAS, this contract required Public Works management, LLC, to conduct fee structure studies and development and provide utility commissions monitoring and advice for the City of Newark, and

WHEREAS, the contract terminated on August 2, 2012, and

WHEREAS, at the request of the Newark Municipal Council Public Works Management, continued to perform these tasks and/or other related tasks of the original contract while a new contract resolution was prepared, and

WHEREAS, Public Works Management had continued to provide services at the request of the Newark Municipal Council; and

WHEREAS, all services were provided to the satisfaction of the Newark Municipal Council; and

WHEREAS, this resulted in a monies owed by the City of Newark to Public Works Management for which the vendor now seeks payment, and

WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council agrees that the work has been satisfactorily performed and payment is due.
