Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Shani Baraka Skills and Drills Basketball Camp at Weequahic High School Gymnasium, 279 Chancellor Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07112, from Monday, July 8, 2013 through Friday, August 2, 2013, between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., (Monday through Friday); and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Weequahic High School Gymnasium, 279 Chancellor Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07112, from Monday, July 8, 2013 through Friday, August 2, 2013, between 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M., (Monday through Friday).
