AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23:5-1, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES, OF TITLE 23, TRAFFIC, CHAPTER 5, PARKING, STOPPING AND STANDING, GENERALLY, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, 2000, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED, BY AMENDING THE PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES ON GRANT STREET.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
Section 1. That Section 23:5-1, Parking Prohibited at all Times, of Title 23, Traffic, Chapter 5, Parking, Stopping and Standing, Generally, of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey, 2000, as amended and supplemented, be amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Grant Street:
Both sides, between Spring Street and Broad Street
Section 2. Any existing Ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon final passage and publication and in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Section 4. This Ordinance does not require approval by the Commissioner of Transportation.
STATEMENT
This Ordinance amends Section 23:5-1, Parking Prohibited at all Times by deleting the No Parking Anytime prohibition on Grant Street, both sides between Spring Street and Broad Street, in the Central Ward.
