Whereas, the residents of Ciudad Loja has played a major role in the productivity of this community; and
Whereas, the residents of the City of Newark is very fond of the accomplishments of the constituents of Ecuadorian descent; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council wants to commemorate the progress made by the Ciudad Loja residents in the community, by designating street signage in his honor for all residents to enjoy.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT it does hereby authorize the naming the corner of Bloomfield Avenue and Crittenden Street as Ciudad Loja Plaza for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
- Naming of Bloomfield Avenue and Crittenden Street as Ciudad Loja Plaza for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
- The names of said streets shall remain Bloomfield Avenue and Crittenden Street in their entirety.
