WHEREAS, Anthony Garcia was appointed Constable pursuant to Resolution 7R9-a, adopted at the June 19, 2013 Regular Municipal Council Meeting; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A-125, Anthony Garcia must give a bond within thirty (30) days of the initial adoption of the resolution of appointment, in such form and amount as prescribed by the Governing Body and required by Ordinance and approved as to form and legality by the Corporation Counsel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The term of the Constable appointment of Anthony Garcia, is for a period three (3) years from the date of the Constable Bond to its expiration whichever occurs first.
2. The Constable Bond, in the amount of $1,000.00 issued to Anthony Garcia, of 19 Highland Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.
STATEMENT
This resolution hereby authorizes and approves as to form, amount and sufficiency the Constable Bond for Anthony Garcia, of 19 Highland Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, who was appointed to serve as a Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey, for a period of three (3) years from the date of appointment and/or the expiration of the Constable Bond, whichever occurs first. ...
