Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting a Summer Event Cook Out at Casa Mia, 502 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, between 12:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M.; and
Whereas, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Casa Mia, 502 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Casa Mia, 502 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Casa Mia, 502 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, between 12:00 P.M. and 3:00 P.M.
2. That the City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Casa Mia, 502 Summer Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for their records.
3. A copy of the executed Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the Insurance Fund Commission shall be filed in the Office of the City Clerk.
