WHEREAS, during the public Council Meeting of December 5, 2012 the Newark Municipal Council established by resolution 7R9-a the annual schedule for all meetings of the body for the year 2013; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds it necessary to change several dates on that calendar.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
Resolution 7R9-a 120512 shall be amended as follows:
Section 1. The Pre-Meeting scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 16, 2013 is hereby rescheduled to 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 22, 2013, The Council Meeting scheduled for 6:30 P.M., Thursday, October 17, 2013 is hereby rescheduled to 6:30 P.M., Wednesday, October 23, 2013. The Special Conference Meeting scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, October 22, 2013 is hereby rescheduled to 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 29, 2013.
Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to forward to the Star Ledger and Jersey Journal, together with posting in the public place of City Hall, a list the amendments to the 2013 annual calendar.
Statement
This resolution reschedules several meetings during the month of October 2013 on the Annual Calendar establishing meetings of the Newark Municipal Council for the Year 2013.
