WHEREAS, Helen Masullo, deceased, previously owned the property located at 227 Walnut Street, Newark, New Jersey, also known as Block 941, Lot 39, serviced by Water/Sewer Account Number 27842; and
WHEREAS, on or about October 24, 2013, there was a balance due and owing on said account in the amount of $58.62 as a result of regular bills; and
WHEREAS, on or about October 24, 2013, ATS Title Agency Inc., in association with a transfer of title to said property, paid the City of Newark $58.62 on Water/Sewer Account Number 27842 (see accounting details attached hereto and made a part hereof); and
WHEREAS, on or about October 28, 2013, the Estate of Helen Masullo, Carmine A. Masullo, Executor, 58 Hickory Road, Nutley, New Jersey 07110-2019, also paid the City of Newark $58.62 for the same Water/Sewer service charge referenced in the paragraph immediately above; and
WHEREAS, on or about November 11, 2013, the Estate of Helen Masullo made a request to be refunded $58.62 on said account due to the duplicate payment referenced above (see letter from the Estate of Helen Masullo attached hereto and made a part hereof).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
