ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE TWO, ADMINISTRATION, CHAPTER THIRTEEN DEPARTMENT OF CHILD AND FAMILY WELL-BEING, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, 2000, AS AMENDED (BY CHANGING THE NAME TO THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND COMMUNITY WELLNESS).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
SECTION 1. Title Two, Administration, Chapter Thirteen, Department of Child and Family Well-Being of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey,2000, as amended and supplemented, be further amended by changing the name to The Department of Health and Community Wellness.
SECTION 2. Any ordinance or parts thereof inconsistent with the provisions herein be and hereby are amended accordingly.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon final passage and publication in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.
STATEMENT:
This ordinance changes the name of Department of Child and Family Well-Being toThe Department of Health and Community Wellness.
