WHEREAS, the City of Newark is desirous of supporting a City-Wide Senior Citizen Wellness/Fitness Fun Day at Branch Brook Park (Visitors' Center Area) Newark, New Jersey 07104 on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 (rain date Thursday, August 28, 2014), from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark has indicated its support for this wholesome event for the benefit of Newark residents by approving this Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement with the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Branch Brook Park (Visitors' Center Area), Newark, New Jersey 07104 for a City-Wide Senior Citizen Wellness/Fitness Fun Day on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 (rain date Thursday, August 28, 2014), from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the City of Newark, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmles...
