WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting an Open House Community Meeting, sponsored by the Municipal Council Member Joseph A. McCallum, Jr. at Speedway Academy Auditorium, at 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, on Thursday, October 23, 2014, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Speedway Academy Auditorium, at 701 South Orange Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, for an Open House Community Meeting, on Thursday, October 23, 2014, from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Publ...
