Purpose:  Supporting the submission of the 2014 Best Practices Inventory

WHEREAS, New Jersey Department of Community Affairs requires all municipalities in the State of New Jersey to prepare and file a Best Practices Inventory each year; and
 
WHEREAS, the Newark Department of Finance has prepared the 2014 inventory; and
 
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council will host a public discussion of document at the regular Council Meeting of November 5, 2014
 
       NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY THAT:
 
It does hereby support the submission of the 2014 Best Practices Inventory to the Department of Community Affairs, Division of Local Government Services.

This resolution supports the submission of the 2014 Best Practices Inventory to the Department of Community Affairs, Division of Local Government Services as required by law.
