WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the Mayor's 2014 Fun Fall Initiative scheduled to be held on November 13 and 14, 2014, at John Hyatt Court, 2 Roanoke Avenue, Newark, New Jersey and on December 4, 11 and 18 at Pennington Court, 203 Pennington Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105 ; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Newark Housing Authority, 500 Broad Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of John Hyatt Court, 2 Roanoke Avenue, Newark, New Jersey on November 13 and 14, 2014 and the use of Pennington Court, 203 Pennington Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105, on December 4, 11 and 18, 2014, for the Mayor's Fall Fun Initiative.
