WHEREAS, on July 30, 2014, the City of Newark through its Purchasing Director advertised to solicit public bids for contractor(s) to provide, Copy Machine Chemicals, to the Departments of Administration, Health and Community Wellness, Engineering, Fire, Police and Water and Sewer Utilities as per the bid proposal attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing distributed four (4) bid proposal packages and four (4) bid invitations to the prospective vendors following the date of re-advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on August 21, 2014, three (3) bids were received in response to this advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing Director recommends a line item award be made to Star Data, Supply Saver Corporation and W.B. Mason, the responsive responsible bidders; and
