WHEREAS, N.J.S.A 40A: 4-87 provides that the Director of Local Government Services may approve the insertion of any Special Item of Revenue in the budget of any local unit when such item shall have been made available by law and the amount thereof shall not have been determined at the time of the adoption of the budget, and may approve the insertion of an appropriation item of equal amount for the purpose of carrying out the purposes of the law making such item of revenue available for expenditure; and

WHEREAS, the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services has made available $313,749.00 bringing total program resources to $589,999.00 for the Immunization Program; and

WHEREAS, by Resolutions 7R1-c, dated September 4, 2014 and 7R2-a, dated September 4, 2014, the City of Newark accepted the Immunization Program grant in the amount of $276,250.00 subject to increase or decrease of funds if made available, and established a temporary emergency appropriation in the same amoun...
