WHEREAS, Hobby's Delicatessen of the City of Newark, New Jersey has played a major role in the productivity of this community; and
WHEREAS, the residents of the City of Newark are very fond of the accomplishments of this consummate public establishment; and
WHEREAS, Hobby's Delicatessens efforts and self-sacrifice helped to build on the Social, Health and Political Progress of this community; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council wants to commemorate the progress made by Hobby's Delicatessen.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT, it does hereby authorize the naming of Branford Place and Halsey Street as Hobby's Delicatessen Plaza for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
1. Naming Branford Place and Halsey Street as Hobby's
Delicatessen Plaza, for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
2. The names of said streets shall remain Branford Place and Halsey Street in their entirety.
