AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23:5-1, PARKING PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES, OF TITLE 23, TRAFFIC AND PARKING, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, 2000, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED, BY ADDING OSBORNE TERRACE, BETWEEN LEHIGH AVENUE AND LYONS AVENUE.

WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering desires to revise Section 23:5-1, Parking Prohibited at all Times, of Title 23, Traffic and Parking, of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey, 2000, by adding No Parking Anytime restrictions on both sides of Osborne Terrace between Lehigh Avenue and Lyons Avenue, in the South Ward.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
Section 1. That Section 23:5-1, Parking Prohibited at all Times, of Title 23, Traffic and Parking of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey, 2000, as amended and supplemented, be amended by adding thereto the following:
Osborne Terrace, both sides, between Lehigh Avenue and Lyons Avenue
Section 2. Any existing ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon final passage and publication and in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Section 4. This ordinance does not require approval by the Commissioner of the State Department of Transportation.

This ordinance amends Section 23:5-1, Parking Prohibited at all Times, by adding Osborne Terrace between Lehigh Avenue and Lyons Avenue, in the South Ward.
