WHEREAS, on October 8, 2013, the City of Newark through its Purchasing Director advertised to solicit bids for contractor(s) to provide Vaccines, (Various), to the Department of Child and Family Well-Being, n/k/a the Department of Health and Community Wellness, as per the bid proposal attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing distributed eleven (11) bid proposal packages to prospective vendors following the date of advertisement; and
WHEREAS, on October 24, 2013, two (2) bids were received in response to this advertisement; and
WHEREAS, the bids received on October 24, 2013, were rejected by the Department of Child and Family Well-Being, n/k/a the Department of Health and Community Wellness, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 (b).
