      WHEREAS, a review and analysis of Temporary Emergency #1 for the FY 2015 Local Safety Program - Broad Street and South Street/ Tichenor Street and Lincoln Park and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard/Crane Street and 7th Avenue - Pedestrian Safety Project funded by the NJ Department of Transportation (City-wide) has disclosed that it was previously adopted by Resolution 7R9-b (S) dated October 7, 2014 and  is necessary to rescind Resolution 7R1-c, adopted by the Municipal Council on December 17, 2014; and
 
      WHEREAS, it is necessary to rescind Resolution 7R1-c adopted on December 17, 2014.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
  1. Resolution 7R1-c adopted on December 17, 2014, be and it is hereby rescinded.
 
STATEMENT
 
The purpose of this resolution is to rescind Resolution 7R1-c adopted on December 17, 2014 for the calendar year 2014.
