WHEREAS, an emergency has arisen in Special Item of Appropriation in the amount of $1,853,743.00 for HOME Investment Partnership Act and no adequate provision has been made in the 2015 Temporary Budget for the aforesaid purpose; and

WHEREAS, on January 7, 2015 through Resolution 7R1-k, the Municipal Council authorized the Mayor and Business Administrator to enter into agreement with HUD to receive and expend FY 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for the HOME Investment Partnership Act in the amount of $1,853,743.00; and

WHEREAS, N.J.S.A 40A:4-20 provides that the Governing Body by a two-thirds vote may make temporary emergency appropriations for any purpose for which appropriations may lawfully be made for the period between the beginning of the current fiscal year and the date of the adoption of the budget for said year; and

WHEREAS, the emergency appropriation adopted in 2015 pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:4-20 including this resolution total...$2,471,232.00.
