WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-121 and N.J.S.A. 40A:9-125, Jose F. Ruiz, must give a bond within thirty (30) days of the initial adoption of the resolution of appointment, approved as to form, amount and sufficiency by the Corporation Counsel and the Municipal Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The term of the Constable appointment of Jose F. Ruiz, is for a period of three (3) years from the date of appointment or the expiration of the Constable Bond, whichever occurs first.
2. The Constable Bond, in the amount of $1,000.00 issued to Jose F. Ruiz, 130 Brookdale Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07106, is approved as to form, amount and sufficiency.
STATEMENT
This resolution hereby authorizes and approves as to form, amount and sufficiency the Constable Bond for Jose F. Ruiz, 10 Lexington Street, Apt. #3B, Newark, New Jersey 07105, who was appointed to serve as Constable in the City of Newark, New Jersey, for a period of three (3) years.
