WHEREAS, on March 4, 2015 through June 3, 2015 an emergency contract was entered into for temporary professional services to allow for the continued operation of the medical centers; and

WHEREAS, it is imperative that the City continue to maintain the level of staffing necessary for a licensed Ambulatory Care Facility; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-6 the extension of the emergency contract is needed for the public health, safety and welfare of the community; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to N.J.A.C.5:34-6.1, the City is in need of an extension of the existing emergency contracts #E2015-05 and E2015-5A, in order to maintain the level of primary medical services and public health services ...
