AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23:5-7, PARKING OR STANDING PROHIBITED IN CERTAIN AREAS AT CERTAIN TIMES FOR STREET CLEANING, OF TITLE 23, TRAFFIC AND PARKING, OF THE REVISED GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, 2000, AS AMENDED AND SUPPLEMENTED, BY AMENDING THE STREET CLEANING DAYS ON SPRING STREET BETWEEN CLAY STREET AND GRANT STREET.

WHEREAS, the Department of Engineering wishes to change the street cleaning days on Spring Street between Clay Street and Grant Street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
Section 1. That Section 23:7, Parking or Standing Prohibited in Certain Areas at Certain Times for Street Cleaning, of Title 23, Traffic and Parking, of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey, 2000, as amended and supplemented, be amended by deleting therefrom the following:
Streets to be Swept Wednesday Afternoons 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
Spring Street, west side from Clay Street to Grant Street
Streets to be Swept Thursday Afternoons 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
Spring Street, east side from Clay Street to Grant Street
Section 2. That Section 23:7, Parking or Standing Prohibited in Certain Areas at Certain Times for Street Cleaning, of Title 23, Traffic and Parking, of the Revised General Ordinances of the City of Newark, New Jersey, 2000, as amended and supplemented, be amended by adding thereto the following:
Streets to be Swept Monday Afternoons 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
Spring Street, west side from Clay Street to Grant Street
Streets to be Swept Tuesday Afternoons 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
Spring Street, east side from Clay Street to Grant Street
Section 3. Any existing ordinances or parts thereof inconsistent with this ordinance are hereby repealed.
