WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council desires to support a Children's Halloween Parade and Festivities at Flamboyan Manor (outside), 147 Verona Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104 (if it rains, festivities will continue inside), sponsored by Council Member, Luis A. Quintana, on Monday, October 31, 2016, between 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. (Event 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.); and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event that will benefit Newark residents by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to the Flamboyan Manor (inside/outside), 147 Verona Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Flamboyan Manor, 147 Verona Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104 for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Flamboyan Manor (inside/outside), for the Annual Children's Halloween Parade and Festivities on Monday, October 31, 2016, between 9:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. (Event 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.).
