WHEREAS, Ordinance 6PSF-E, adopted on May 20, 2015, authorizes the designation of an intersection, etc. for honorary and ceremonial purposes; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Jack Nata, Manager, Division of Traffic and Signals, Department of Engineering, was a longtime City of Newark employee, who was the ultimate professional and embodied the standard of a model City of Newark employee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council does hereby authorize the honorary and ceremonial renaming of the intersection of Dey Street and Central Avenue, as Jack Nata Place.
2. The names of the said streets shall remain Dey Street and Central Avenue in their entirety.

This resolution hereby authorizes the naming of the intersection of Dey Street and Central Avenue, as Jack Nata Place, for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
