NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
For Calendar Year 2017 the following scheduled days shall be considered as paid holidays.
January 2 New Year’s Day (Observed)
January 16 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday (Observed)
February 13 Lincoln’s Birthday (Observed)
February 20 Washington’s Birthday (Observed)
April 14 Good Friday
May 29 Memorial Day
July 4 Independence Day
September 4 Labor Day
October 9 Columbus Day
November 7 Election Day
November 10 Veteran’s Day
