WHEREAS, the City of Newark's Department of Health and Community Wellness desires to continue providing Lead Hazard Reduction Services in eligible housing units throughout the City of Newark; and

WHEREAS, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes, has funds available for the provision of such services; and
