WHEREAS, Resolution 7R12-a, adopted September 2, 2015 authorized the award to Investigate Sources of Extraneous Flow to the City of Newark Combined Sewer System to Arcadis US, Inc., 17-17 Route 208 North, Fair Lawn, New Jersey 07410, in the amount not to exceed $125,000.00 in accordance with Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, the original contract term was for three hundred sixty five (365) days from the effective date of the issuance of the Notice to Proceed, from October 29, 2015 to October 29, 2016; and
WHEREAS, as a result of the following unforeseen delays due to unanticipated findings and field conditions, an extension of time is required ("First Extension") in order to complete successfully the Investigation Sources of Extraneous Flow to the City of Newark Combined Sewer System; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Water and Sewer Utilities wishes to execute Change Order #1 to Investigate Sources of Extraneous Flow to the City of Newark Combined Sewer System with Arcadis U.S., Inc. The Dire...
