WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the IBID- Ironbound Business Improvement District Meeting at the Oliver Street School, 86 Oliver Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105 (Auditorium) on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 5:00PM until 7:00PM; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for the community event by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of the Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Oliver Street School, 86 Oliver Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105 (Auditorium) on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM.
2. The City Clerk, on behalf of the Newark Municipal Council, shall forward a true copy of the Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement to Newark Public Schools, 2 Cedar Street, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for their records.
