WHEREAS, the City of Newark Department of Public Safety, Office of Emergency Management (OEM) requests to provide emergency operation center training for forty (40) Newark emergency response personnel and elected officials in the course entitled "Jurisdictional Crisis Emergency Management - Emergency Operations Center" ("JCEM-EOC"), which course shall be delivered over a three (3) day period at the location of Newark's Emergency Operation Center, 480 Clinton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey07108; and
WHEREAS, the City of Newark's OEM was awarded $133,800.00 from the FY '15 Urban Area Security Initiative grant for training purposes by the New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, which grant monies were accepted by the City of Newark by Resolution 7R1-g 012016, adopted on January 20, ...
