WHEREAS, Ordinance 6PSF-e, adopted on May 20, 2015, authorizes the designation of an intersection, etc., for honorary and ceremonial purposes; and
WHEREAS, the late Lieutenant Keith Isaac, former Director of the Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security for the City of Newark, was a diligent professional and contributed and dedicated his time to the City on behalf of the safety of its’ residents; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council would like to commemorate his achievements by renaming the intersection of Bergen Street and Clinton Avenue, in his honor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council does hereby authorize the honorary and ceremonial renaming of the intersection of Bergen Street and Clinton Avenue as Coordinator Keith Isaac Way.
2. The official names of said streets shall remain Bergen Street and Clinton Avenue in their entirety.

This resolution hereby authorizes the naming of the intersection of Bergen Street and Clinton Avenue, as Coordinator Keith Isaac Way, for honorary and ceremonial purposes.
