WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting two (2) North Ward "Movies Under the Stars" Events at Branch Brook Park (by Ballantine Parkway and Lake Street gate entrance), Newark, New Jersey 07104 on Thursday, August 17, 2017 and Friday, September 15, 2017, between 4:00 P.M. and 11:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event that will benefit Newark residents, by approving the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement with the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, of 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, of 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Branch Brook Park (near Ballantine Parkway and Lake Street gate entrance), Newark, New Jersey 07104 for two (2) Nor...
