WHEREAS, on July 12, 2017, the City of Newark Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R9-a, authorizing the Department of Public Safety Office of Emergency (OEM) to enter into a contract with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, an authorized Government Services Administration to provide training in emergency management operation center response commencing on the date the contract is fully executed through August 31, 2017, for an amount not to exceed $99,819.00; and
WHEREAS, there was a typographical error in the Resolution indicating a contract termination date of August 31, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Safety Office of Emergency (OEM) wishes to correct the contract termination date in the resolution, due to the typographical error, from August 31, 2017, to December 31, 2017; and
WHEREAS, all other terms and conditions remain the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. Resolution 7R9-a, adopted on July 12, 2017 is amended to correct the termination date of the contract from August 31, 2017, to December 31, 2017.
2. All other terms and conditions remain the same.
3. The amendment to the resolution is ratified to July 12, 2017.
STATEMENT
This resolution ratifies and authorizes a corrective amendment to Resolution 7R9-a, adopted on July 12, 2017, to amend the contract termination date from August 31, 2017, to December 31, 2017, all other terms and conditions remain the same.
