WHEREAS, on July 12, 2017, the City of Newark Municipal Council adopted Resolution 7R9-a, authorizing the Department of Public Safety Office of Emergency (OEM) to enter into a contract with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service, an authorized Government Services Administration to provide training in emergency management operation center response commencing on the date the contract is fully executed through August 31, 2017, for an amount not to exceed $99,819.00; and
WHEREAS, there was a typographical error in the Resolution indicating a contract termination date of August 31, 2017; and
