WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the 16th Annual Kids' Day Event at Independence Park at Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105 sponsored by Councilman August Amador on Saturday, September 30, 2017 (Rain Date: Sunday, October 1, 2017), from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event for the benefit of Newark residents by supporting the issuance of a is Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 15 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, and if inclement weather, festivities will take place on a Rain Date of Sunday, October 1, 2017.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 15 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Independence Park at Van Buren Street, Newark, New Jersey 07105 for the 16...
