WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council desires to support the Annual a Children's Halloween Parade and Festivities at Branch Brook Park - Visitor's Center (between Heller Parkway and Mill Street), Newark, New Jersey 07107 (if inclement weather, festivities will take place at Flamboyan Manor (inside), 147 Verona Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104), sponsored by Council Member, Luis A. Quintana and Council Member, Anibal Ramos, Jr., on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. (Event: 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.); and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event for the benefit of Newark residents by supporting the issuance of two Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreements by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission for the benefit of Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, 115 Clifton Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104, and if inclement weather, for the benefit of Flamboyan Manor (inside), 147 Verona Avenue, Newark, New Jersey 07104.
