WHEREAS, on February 28, 2017, the City of Newark (hereinafter "City") through its Supervising Procurement Specialist, QPA, advertised to solicit bids for Nursing Services for Community Health, which the contractor will provide to the City of Newark, for the Department of Health and Community Wellness, as described in the attached bid proposal; to provide external contractual nursing agencies to sustain the professional nursing workforce at an adequate level, to provide quality nursing service to Newark residents at City facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing distributed six (6) bid packages from its vendor list; and
WHEREAS, on March 16, 2017, the Division of Central Purchasing received one (1) bid in response to the City's advertisement; and
