WHEREAS, on January 4, 2017, the City of Newark, through its Supervising Procurement Specialist, advertised to solicit bids for Maintenance and Repair: Plumbing, Maintenance, Installation and Repair (Public Works), which the contractor will provide to the City of Newark, for the Departments of Public Works, Division of Public Buildings and the Department Economic and Housing Development, Division of Property Management's usage as described in the attached bid proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Central Purchasing solicited fifteen (15) bids from prospective vendor (s) from its established bid list, and
WHEREAS, on January 19, 2017, the Division of Central Purchasing received two (2) bids in response to the solicitation; and
