WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council is desirous of supporting the "March for Our Lives - Student Rally Against Gun Violence" at Military Park, Newark, New Jersey 07102, on Saturday, March 24, 2018, between 8:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. (Event Time: 10:00A.M. until 12:00P.M.); and
WHEREAS, the Newark Municipal Council has indicated its support for this wholesome event by supporting the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Military Park Partnership, 50 Park Place, Suite 1431, Newark, New Jersey 07102.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MUNICIPAL COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NEWARK, NEW JERSEY, THAT:
1. The Municipal Council of the City of Newark supports the issuance of a Hold Harmless and Indemnification Agreement, drawn by the City of Newark Insurance Fund Commission, for the benefit of Military Park Partnership, 50 Park Place, Suite 1431, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for any claims arising out of the City of Newark's use of Military Park, Newark, New Jersey 07102, for the "March for Our Lives - Student Rally Against Gun Violence" on Saturday, March 24, 2018, between 8:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M. (Event Time: 10:00A.M. until 12:00P.M.).
